Investment, Community, AI & Data Disclosures

Effective July 12, 2026 · community disclosures included

Educational decision support

Apertux provides educational information and organizes evidence. It is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, custodian, exchange, or brokerage. It does not provide personalized recommendations, select securities for a user, execute or route trades, hold funds, or transmit orders.

Community content is not Apertux research

Plaza posts, comments, profiles, reaction counts, and context notes are created by users. Apertux does not verify or endorse them. A source link, disclosure badge, AI-assisted label, moderation label, trusted-reviewer status, follower count, or Helpful reaction does not establish truth, expertise, consensus, safety, or suitability. Community content may be incomplete, stale, misleading, fraudulent, or wrong.

Social-media and manipulation risk

Investment discussions can be used for impersonation, undisclosed promotion, fabricated consensus, pump-and-dump schemes, coordinated trading, and promises of guaranteed returns. Never make an investment decision solely from Plaza or any social platform. Verify the author, issuer, security, source, and material conflicts independently. Report suspected fraud or manipulation and avoid acting under pressure.

Conflicts and author disclosures

Market Note authors must disclose positions, short exposure, payment, employment, issuer affiliation, and other material relationships near the claim. Apertux does not independently confirm every disclosure, and a person may fail to disclose or may misstate a conflict. Treat no-position statements and disclosure badges as author representations, not Apertux certifications.

AI assistance and moderation limitations

AI output is probabilistic and may omit facts, misunderstand a member's meaning, translate imperfectly, over-flag lawful content, or miss harmful content. The Plaza drafting assistant and Draft Coach do not verify a claim, invent a reliable source, publish for the member, or make Apertux the author. Automated moderation is a safety signal, not a factual or legal determination; authorized people make final enforcement decisions. Verify important information using original sources.

Independent decisions and investment risk

Users make independent decisions and transact through unaffiliated brokerage platforms. Every investment involves risk, including loss of principal. Historical performance, scenarios, scores, social sentiment, volatility, educational classifications, and community popularity do not predict future results.

Market and brokerage data

Prices, charts, and news may use delayed or end-of-day Polygon data and must be read with the displayed freshness label. Events, profiles, manual holdings, scenarios, and brokerage workflows may be cached, user-entered, or staged. Read-only brokerage synchronization, when activated, imports authorized holdings and transactions but cannot trade or move funds.

Apertux compensation and conflicts

The planned business model is subscription-only. Apertux does not currently receive issuer, fund, brokerage, affiliate, lead-generation, advertising, or transaction compensation for securities discussed. Any future change requires conflict review and prominent disclosure before activation.

Regulatory launch gate

Paid AI research, personalized portfolio analysis, brokerage synchronization, and trading-adjacent features remain disabled until their legal, security, vendor, and operational gates are approved. Disclosures alone do not determine regulatory status or make an otherwise regulated activity unregulated.
