Terms of Service

Effective July 12, 2026 · version 2026-07-12-community-v1

Agreement, service, and eligibility

These Terms govern Apertux and Apertux Plaza. By creating an account, using the service, or affirmatively accepting these Terms, you agree to them and the policies they incorporate. Apertux is an educational decision-support service for US adults age 18 or older. Beta features, limits, and coverage may change.

No advisory or brokerage relationship

Apertux is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, custodian, exchange, or brokerage. Use does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, broker-customer, or similar relationship. Apertux does not recommend, execute, route, or settle trades or hold money or securities. You remain responsible for independent decisions.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, maintain one authentic identity, protect your credentials, and promptly report unauthorized use. You may connect only accounts and data you are authorized to use. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by Apertux.

Plaza community content

Plaza posts, comments, profiles, reactions, and context notes are user content, not Apertux research or endorsements. Community content is public and should not include confidential, personal, brokerage, or nonpublic information. You retain ownership of content you create and grant Apertux a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, display, distribute, and make technical copies of that content as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service. This license ends when content is deleted, except for lawful retention, backups, prior authorized uses, and content others have shared or incorporated into discussions.

Community rules and financial integrity

The Plaza Community Guidelines are part of these Terms. Market Notes require a reliable HTTPS source, a genuine counterpoint, and a clear disclosure of positions, payment, employment, issuer relationships, or other material conflicts. Do not post false or misleading claims, guaranteed returns, personalized buy/sell/hold instructions, inside or confidential information, undisclosed promotions, coordinated manipulation, pump-and-dump activity, impersonation, scams, harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, spam, malware, or unlawful content.

Moderation, reports, and appeals

Apertux may use automated systems and human review to coach, hold, label, limit, remove, or reject content and to warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts. AI assessments can be wrong and are not fact-checking. Apertux makes final enforcement decisions and may consider context, severity, history, safety, and law. Eligible users may appeal through the available process. We do not promise that every report will lead to action, that removed content will be restored, or that the service will monitor every item.

Intellectual property

Post only content you have the right to use. Do not copy protected articles, images, research, or trademarks beyond what law permits; link to original sources instead. Apertux may remove material and restrict repeat infringers. Copyright notices should be sent to legal@apertux.com with identification of the work, the specific material and URL, contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and a physical or electronic signature.

Acceptable use and service integrity

Do not scrape or resell the service, evade limits, automate accounts without permission, probe or interfere with security, introduce malicious code, harvest personal data, abuse reports, or use Apertux for illegal activity or to obtain trading capability. Apertux may investigate abuse, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with valid legal process.

Third-party services and subscriptions

Apertux relies on unaffiliated identity, AI, market-data, email, analytics, monitoring, and support providers. Their availability, accuracy, security, and terms are separate. Paid checkout and brokerage synchronization remain disabled during the free beta. Joining an interest list does not create a charge. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and recurring-billing consent will be presented before paid activation.

Disclaimers, liability, and responsibility

The free beta and community content are provided as available without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, moderation outcome, uninterrupted availability, investment result, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Apertux is not responsible for investment losses or user content and excludes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, and punitive damages. You are responsible for your content and violations of another person's rights. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain in effect.

Changes, governing law, and contact

Material changes will receive notice where required, and policy versions and acceptance records will be maintained. Continued use after an effective date constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law; a new affirmative acceptance may be required. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Texas law governs these Terms. Contact legal@apertux.com for legal questions and support@apertux.com for account help.
